Introducing: C.I.T.A. Park
in Downtown New Haven
Head to the corner of Chapel & Orange for the soft opening of downtown New Haven’s newest outdoor event space C.I.T.A. Park! Featuring musical mash-ups by DJ Too Much and Trey Moore, games, the infamous Confession Booth, and hang out vibes at The Playground by Sweets & Sounds!
Document the night with your own 360 Photobooth digital souvenir, sponsored by 360 State Apartments.
Enjoy delicious bites from 2 additional food vendors - Mamma Kiss Kitchen, The Meat Truck and Madeline’s Empandas!
Draft beer & cocktail options will be available for those over 21.

About C.I.T.A. Park: This summer, C.I.T.A Park is where Craft meets The Culture. The Night Market marks the official opening of CT's first black-led outdoor summer beer garden and event space. Located on the corner of Orange and Chapel St in downtown New Haven, this non-profit collaboration includes The Change in the Air Foundation, Wherehouse Productions, 360 State, the City of New Haven, Wine Down CT, Seeing Sounds Festival and TBR Events . The park aims to provide a vibrant and immersive experience. The bar will highlight BIPOC owned beverages and food vendors, along with a curated lineup of free and ticketed events that celebrate the richness of black and brown culture from beer festivals to food festivals, dance parties to live concerts. C.I.T.A Park will be a hub of creativity, expression, and connection for all. Proceeds from the park will go towards the CT Brewers Guild African American Brewers Scholarship and further supporting and empowering the black and brown community in New Haven.

About Creative Arts Workshop: CAW’s core belief is “To create freely is to live fully.” Creative Arts Workshop is a New Haven nonprofit, serving the Greater New Haven area since 1961. As an anchor institution located in the heart of the award-winning Audubon Arts District, CAW offers a wide range of visual arts classes and engagement in creativity in its own three-story building with fully-equipped studios in eight disciplines, and an active exhibition and public programming schedule. More than 1,800 adults and young people enroll annually in the more than 400 courses offered by Creative Arts Workshop, while over 1000 visitors enjoy the free exhibitions and public programs in its destination galleries throughout the year. CAW’s classes are open to students of all ages and levels of experience.

While you're at it, learn about the fun equipment at the library (like button-makers!) that you can use to make cool stuff any time you want!
