Join the New Haven Pride Center during the New Haven Night Market as we present, "Rooted in Pride, United in Community". Rooted in Pride, United in Community is a celebration of LGBTQ+ creativity, resilience, and connection. This art show brings together diverse voices from our community, showcasing works that reflect the power of identity, chosen family, and collective pride. Through every brushstroke, photo, and form, we honor the roots that ground us and the unity that moves us forward together.

 

AAPI Heritage Month Pop-Up with AAPINHV

In celebration of May’s Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, aapiNHV hosts its third annual pop-up market at the New Haven Night Market! Their Pop-Up market within the NHVNM features 10 AAPI-owned food and retail vendors, a community art activity, and tai chi demonstration from Tai Chi Master Shirley Chock. This event highlights and supports local Asian-owned businesses and offers a fun cultural experience for the all to participate in!

Vendors include: rencoco, Isankofa Skin Care, Divine Zine, Indiigo Culture, Creation Jute USA, Alki Studio, creampuffpal, yarnshaper, Radiant Art, Beacon Craft Studio

First Night at CITA Park

CITA Park reopens for the season at the Night Market! Visit their newly-upgraded space and enjoy music all night long from DJ’s Kasey Cortez, Selector AR, & DJ Too Much!

CITA Park features board games, comfortable outdoor seating, craft beer from black-owned brewers, cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages.

Calling all pizza loving art enthusiasts! Strange Ways and New Haven Pizza Club are teaming up for a gallery show and merchandise release! Swing by the opening reception to peep original pizza-inspired artwork— snap a pic with the 6-foot-tall pizza monument—and shop a fresh drop of New Haven and pizza-themed patches, pins, and more. The first 50 visitors score a free swag bag!

Does the Night Market make you want to dance? Yeah, us too… And for the first year ever, Cafe Nine will be hosting the NHVNM’s Official After(dance)party! Check back here for more info about the event closer to Market night!

Cafe Nine will also be serving brews & bites on Crown Street, near State Street, in front of their building, along with additional outdoor seating and hangout space!

Family Game Zone hosted by The Anthem

The brand new Anthem Apartments hosts this Night Market’s family-friendly Game Zone in their Plaza! Celebrating the completion of their new apartment building on the corner of Orange & George Streets in the Ninth Square, The Anthem opens their plaza space to Night Market guests. Enjoy tons of lawn games and 2 food trucks - 29 Markle Ct & the iScream Truck - along with extra seating and an overall quieter environment, away from the Night Market crowds.

About Creative Arts Workshop: CAW’s core belief is “To create freely is to live fully.” Creative Arts Workshop is a New Haven nonprofit, serving the Greater New Haven area since 1961.
